FOOD INDUSTRY DONATIONS
River Bend Food Bank relies on the generosity of our food donors. We solicit donations of all types of food from many sources to distribute to our nonprofit partner agencies and member programs.
Donation sources include manufacturers, retailers, distributors, produce vendors, brokers, freight companies and local growers and processors. The Food Bank is a convenient, cost effective solution to inventory challenges, storage and space limitations and waste disposal costs. Thanks to the Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Law and new tax laws, donors are protected from civil and criminal liability and offered a tax incentive.
Contact Jeff DeYoung at 563-345-6490, ext. 204 to make a donation or for more information.
River Bend Food Bank relies on the generosity of its supporters to help fight hunger in eastern lowa and western Illinois. Each year, over 22 million meals are missed in our service area. Your financial support is essential to bridging the meal gap in our community.
Volunteers are crucial to the operation of River Bend Food Bank. Without volunteers, it would not be possible to collect, sort, and distribute all the food that comes through our warehouse every day. Together we're feeding people today and ending hunger tomorrow.
If you or a loved one is experiencing hunger, please let us help you. Find a food pantry or meal site near you with our interactive map.
