Every week for the past three years, Matthew has volunteered with a smile. Showing up with joy — and humor — he’s quickly become a favorite volunteer for many of the neighbors who visit.
Whether he’s working in the warehouse or stocking shelves, he’s happy to be helping. And that happiness is contagious!
Matthew loves volunteering with River Bend Food Bank because he says all his friends are here. And while he enjoys handing out all kinds of groceries, he especially loves giving out some of his favorites — peanut butter and pizza.
He’s known for his playful personality and his ability to make people smile. Two qualities that go a long way toward making the day bright for others. And that’s something everyone can appreciate!
