DAVENPORT, IOWA – River Bend Food Bank’s NorthPark and SouthPark pantries will follow an adjusted end of year holiday schedule, this includes extended hours in advance of holiday closures.
NorthPark Mall Pantry:
- Monday, Dec. 22, noon – 6 p.m.
- Wednesday, Dec. 24, Closed
- Monday, Dec. 29, noon – 6 p.m.
- Wednesday, Dec. 31, Closed
SouthPark Mall Pantry:
- Tuesday, Dec. 23, noon – 6 p.m.
- Thursday, Dec. 25, Closed
- Tuesday, Dec. 30, noon – 6 p.m.
- Thursday, Jan. 1, Closed

President and CEO Chris Ford said he is grateful to the team of committed volunteers and staff for making all parts of the mall pantries a success.
“Offering extended hours during crucial holiday weeks is only possibly thanks to the dedication of committed volunteers and River Bend Food Bank staff who ensure our shelves are filled and our doors are open to our neighbors who need it,” he said.
Interested volunteers may sign up for shifts to assist guests at pantries or sort and pack food at a River Bend Food Bank facility by visiting riverbendfoodbank.org/volunteer. Pantry volunteers must be at least 10 years old, those under 16 must be accompanied by a registered adult. Volunteers sorting produce must be at least 16 years old.
