It is an exciting time down here on Kimmel Drive!  After several weeks of demolition and site prep, the steel has arrived and the River Bend Food Bank expansion project is taking shape With last week’s steel delivery, the work has become vertical in nature!  This project also includes a storm shelter for which the masonry work continues while the beams for the building expansion are being secured into place.

It is truly amazing to observe the Bush Construction team hard at work day in and day out. Their dedication and safety on this project is to be applauded.  The hope is to have the steel installation in place in the next few weeks to begin interior work before the freeze.  But as of this moment, the project is still running on time and at budget. This shared dream is looking closer to reality with each passing day, and we couldn’t be more excited!
